The Royal Court Grill
The Royal Court is a group of high school students who are selected through a rigorous interview process to serve as the official representatives of La Canada Flintridge and the Chamber of Commerce. They host community events and raise money to support local charities.
Royal Court is more subtle in its princess theme than Animator’s Palate or Enchanted Garden, and the food is quite good for a rotational restaurant on a cruise ship.
Grilled Seafood Medley
A delicious seafood medley featuring mussels, shrimp, squid and fish expertly grilled to perfection. This is a light and satisfying meal that goes perfectly with simple sides like greens tossed in vinaigrette.
Prepare a grill for medium heat. Brush the seafood with oil and season with oregano, salt and pepper. Place the seafood on skewers (if using) and cook on the grill, turning as needed until lightly charred and cooked through (3 minutes for squid, 6 minutes for shrimp and 7-8 minutes for mullet). Transfer to a platter and squeeze with lemon.
The royal court grill serves a variety of mouthwatering American (New) dishes in a laid back and comfortable atmosphere. This restaurant has wheelchair accessible entrances, parking and restrooms, making it easy for everyone to enjoy a wonderful meal. It also accepts credit cards and debit cards for convenient payments. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and high chairs are available for children. Its service is quick and efficient, ensuring that guests are served quickly.
Grilled Lamb Loin
The lamb loin chops in this recipe are slathered with a simple blend of olive oil, fresh rosemary and garlic that will enhance their distinct flavor and succulent texture. They’re easy enough for a weeknight, but they also make an impressive platter for dinner parties and date nights.
The restaurant is a bit more subdued in its theme than the Fantasy’s other rotational dining options, Animator’s Palate and Enchanted Garden, but it offers an enjoyable atmosphere and solid food. And while the food prepared for hundreds of people at once will never be as good as that served at a more intimate restaurant, this is one of the better options on the ship.
Roasted Vegetable Medley
A medley of veggies is oven-roasted with herbs and crushed red pepper for a simple, healthy side dish. Roasting vegetables brings out their natural sweetness and gives them a deep, caramelized flavor that even avowed veggie haters will love.
Toss the vegetables in a mix of olive oil, herbs and spices before roasting to make them extra-tender and flavorful. Use a combination of your favourite herbs: chives, mint, parsley, rosemary and thyme work well. Or try adding a sprinkle of citrus zest or a pinch of curry powder for a different flavour.
Be careful not to overcrowd the pan; roasting vegetables too close together can cause them to steam instead of crisp up. If you’re using two baking sheets, switch the top and bottom halfway through cooking to ensure even roasting. Spritz the roasted veggies with freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice just before serving. This will brighten up their colour and add another hit of tangy, fresh flavour to the dish.
Grilled Chicken
Dine on grilled chicken breast and lightly breaded chicken tenders served with seasonal greens, chopped Applewood smoked bacon, diced tomatoes, shredded Cheddar cheese, and your choice of dressing. This dish can also be made gluten-free by substituting the Applewood smoked bacon for shredded Applewood smoked turkey.
The menu here is more subdued in theme than the other two rotational dining options aboard the Fantasy, Animator’s Palate and Enchanted Garden, though you’ll still find artwork and mosaics of Disney Princesses on the walls. You’ll also be able to order a variety of steakhouse classics, such as pomegranate-glazed duck breast and spinach souffle, Dijon-crusted rack of lamb, and roasted wild boar tenderloin.
The food at this restaurant is very tasty and the service was excellent. The place is very intimate and has a homely feel to it. The prices are reasonable too. You can order tender meat dishes, curries and even vegetarian items here. Google users have rated this spot 4.4 out of 5. You can dine here with your children and family too.
